1.   INTRODUCTION

 

1.1. Purpose of Policy

Block122, Inc. (“Block122”, “us” or “we”) is committed to respecting the privacy rights of its customers, visitors, and other users of the Block122.com website (the “Site”). We created this Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) to give you confidence as you visit and use the Site, and to demonstrate our commitment to fair information practices and the protection of privacy. This Policy is only applicable to the Site and not to any other websites that are linked to or that you may be able to access from the Site, each of which may have data collection, use practices and policies that differ materially from this Policy.  While this Policy relates to privacy related matters, Use of this site is also governed by this Block122.com Terms of Use.  Capitalized terms used in this Policy shall have the same meaning as set forth in such Terms of Use.

 

1.2. Notice Concerning Children

The Block122 Site is for adults age 21 and older. We do not sell products or direct any of our content to minors.  As such, access of this site by anyone under age 21 is expressly prohibited. If we learn or have reason to suspect that a Site user is under age 21, we will promptly delete that user’s account and block their IP address.

 

2. INFORMATION COLLECTION PRACTICES

 

2.1. What Personal Information Do We Collect?

In order for you to purchase products, post user reviews, and access various parts of the Site, we require you to provide us with certain information that personally identifies you (“Personal Information”).  Personal Information may, without limitation, include the following: registration data, company/firm names, addresses, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, URL’s, financial account information used for purchases, online surveys and forms that ask users to provide feedback, as well as text, audio, images, videos and any other content that you may submit to us, including without limitation, any information you authorize us to import or export to or from social networks, career networks, and other external websites (“Integrated Third Party Websites”).

 

2.2            User Choice Regarding Collection, Use, and Distribution of Personal Information.

You may choose not to provide us with any Personal Information. In such an event, you can still access and use some of the Site; however you will not be able to access and use those portions of the Site that require your Personal Information. If you do provide us with your Personal Information but you do not wish to receive certain information and promotional materials from us or from some of our business partners (e.g., advertisers), you may select the appropriate “opt-out” option on your customer communication preferences page by logging in at https://block122.commyblock and selecting profiile > edit > privacy and selecting “only me” as the visibility option.

 

2.3. What Additional Information Do We Collect?

 

(a) Automatic Collection. Our servers automatically recognize and track each visitors IP address (the number assigned to computers on the Internet), Internet service provider, domain server, browser type, computer platform, referring website, date, time and duration of access, and links clicked through. No Personal Information about you is revealed in this process. The Site may also gather anonymous “traffic data” that does not personally identify you, but that may be helpful for marketing purposes or for improving the Site.

 

(b) Cookies.  Block122 may use the standard “cookies” feature of major browser applications that allows us to store a small piece of data on your computer to track information about your visit to our Site. We do not include any personally identifiable information in cookies. This Policy covers the use of cookies by Block122 only and does not cover the use of cookies by any business partners. (c) Mobile Device Identifying Information. When you access the Site via a mobile device, we may collect the unique identifying information of your mobile device (“Mobile Device ID”). We may use your Mobile Device ID to provide a tailored experience for you. In addition, the Mobile Device ID information may be collected in order to determine the aggregate number of unique devices accessing our Site, to track total usage, analyze data, and communicate with you more effectively. We may also combine your Mobile Device ID with information from third parties to provide you with a better experience and to improve the quality of our service. We do not share any personally identifiable information with third parties in association with your Mobile Device ID.

 

(d) Geographic Location. When you access the Site via a mobile device, we may also collect the geographic location of your mobile device if your mobile device is set to transmit such information. We may use your geographic location to provide a tailored experience for you. In addition, the geographic location information may be used to analyze our Site traffic. We may also combine your geographic location with information from third parties to provide you with a better experience and to improve the quality of our Site. We do not share any personally identifiable information with third parties in association with your geographic location.

 

(e) E-mail Communications. To help us make e-mails more relevant to you, we often receive a confirmation when you open an e-mail from us if your computer supports such capabilities. We also compare our customer list to lists received from other companies, in an effort to avoid sending unnecessary messages to our customers. 3. STORAGE, USE AND SHARING OF INFORMATION

 

3.1. Transmittal and Storage.  We provide you with the capability to transmit your Personal Information to us via secured and encrypted channels if you use a similarly equipped web browser.  Your Personal Information is then stored on secure servers that are not publicly accessible by third parties.

 

3.2. Sharing of Personal Information.  We will not share your Personal Information with any third parties without your consent, except as expressly set forth herein, as as necessary or appropriate to provide you with the services offered by us. If you choose to visit third party websites, we are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those other websites, and it is your responsibility to review the privacy policies at those websites to confirm that you understand and agree with their policies.
